About Dennis and Barrett of Black Cloud Collective

Black Could Collective was started by local Chicago artist's Dennis Quijano and Barrett Dvorsky in order to cultivate a local and global community of like-minded creative's. Dennis having a background in graphic design and operating the Paper Crown Gallery, located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, has his fingers on the pulse of the local art scene. His business partner Barrett works by day doing graphic and web design and in his free time frequents the Paper Crown Gallery as one of their house artists.

Dennis and Barrett met at The Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg where they studied for their respective degrees and have been friends since. Dennis graduated with a B.F.A. in Media Arts and Animation while Barrett graduated with a B.F.A. in Visual Communications. Both with backgrounds in graphic arts and illustration continue to develop a variety of art styles while exploring thier creative outlets. Over the years they have both developed their computer illustration skills and are now joining efforts to raise awareness of their own street art brands, the street art of others, and the culture as a whole. Together they are putting their knowledge and style of design, marketing, and web development together with their lists of artist contacts to bring limited edition art to those who appreciate it and the culture.
